Nativerse Studios Crowdfunding Campaign Summary
Out of necessity, Nativerse Studios is raising funds to grow our team and launch several community-based leftist media projects in the coming months. [See video below on the history of Nativerse Studios].
Introduction & Background
Continuing almost 10 years of Queer, BIPOC, Leftist, community education & conversations, what we aim to do in the first few months of 2025 is more important than ever. From the foundation of the Subspace Exploration Project and the educators, historians, and healthcare professionals we’ve met along the way, we will be launching Hard Left News, the BDSM 101 Project, and partnering with others to find secure, legal ways to host and distribute vital community history, health, communication, and safety resources.
Over the years we have learned quite a lot about building community, preserving and sharing history, and the barriers capitalism creates to slow and prevent the dissemination of culture & community history. Those barriers that have always existed for some are now about to affect us all. We are preparing to Do what we can to remove those barriers and strengthen communities as best we can. All of this requires community to band together and support each other.
Reach & Impact
Nativerse Studios will continue to be an entirely grassroots operation. From websites to media hosting to how we get the word out, if we have to podcast in morse code, we will. Regardless of the level of success of this campaign our team will continue to amplify the voices of the marginalized for as long as we can.
Risks
Popular media platforms that we have taken for granted for so long, thinking that they were free (such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, & YouTube) no longer benefit the people in any measurable way. Despite the technological age we live in, to safely publish leftist, antifascist, anticapitalist content comes with significant risks. To help our team continue to do this important work is to help protect the rights & histories of communities that are in harm's way.

What We Need & What You Get
The target amount for this campaign will provide our team with:
A mobile media workstation with adequate solid state storage to keep our content out of the cloud.
Secure video content hosting.
Legal fees to reconfigure and protect our operation.
Two months operating costs and contributor compensation.
To surpass our campaign goal will allow us to:
LoRa Off-Grid Encrypted Communications Scholarships.
Travel to meet with guests & contributors for face to face interviews and to develop educational content.
Establish more secure hosting resources for community education resources.
Donors to our campaign will receive:
Tier 1 - $100+ Donation
Lifelong Tier 1 Subscriber Access to all shows that we produce with Tier 1 perks: Early access and Tier 1 bonus content.
Tier 2 - $250+ Donation
Lifelong Tier 2 Subscriber Access to all shows that we produce with Tier 2 perks: Early access, Tier 2 bonus content access, 2 live event tickets per year. Donor credit across all shows published in 2025.
Tier 3 - $500+ Donation
Lifelong Tier 3 Subscriber Access to all shows that we produce and Tier 3 perks: Early access, Tier 3 bonus content, 4 live event tickets per year. Permanent donor credits across all shows.
